yannisusa Posted January 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2006 No visa is required for Argentina. You need it for Brazil. Yannis
crazy4cruisn Posted January 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2006 How much is the visa for Brazil? Do you get it before you go or can you get it on arrival or from the ship?
Splinter Posted January 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Americans must have a visa for Brazil. You must apply through your closest Brazilian consulate. Some will do it by mail, while others require that it be in person. You cannot apply sooner than 90 days prior to your arrival in Brazil, but you definately MUST have it before you leave on your trip. You will have to submit your passport and other documents at the time you apply for your visa, as well as paying the fee. Here is more information: http://www.brasilemb.org/consulado/consular_visa_tourism.shtml You can also pay a company to do this leg-work for you. Easy to find them either through your TA or by Googling "brazil visa".
