Anyone on Sensation in April?

We're a family of 5 (9, 11 & 16 yr kids) and haven't cruised before. We've booked two oceanview cabins on the Main deck of the Sensation for the April 1st sailing. What can we expect for weather and are there really two formal nights? Any other tips would be appreciated!
