Beautiful beaches and quiet, but not accessible on a cruise stop from Tortola let alone STT...

Yes, the best way to visit Anegada is from a BVI land trip. I took a day trip to Anegada and we didn't see flamingos. I tried to see them in Curacao, too, and didn't.

Yes, MS411 is correct, when staying on Tortola or Virgin Gorda it is easier to take a day trip to Anegada, either by ferry or plane. You can stay on Anegada as well, Just google the various BVI information sites and blogs to learn more about this unique BVI island.
