Uber from POM to Ft Lauderdale Airport question

Great information on this post. Here's another question....

Flying into FLL on December 8 for a 5 night Celebrity Cruise. Our flight arrives in FLL at 8:50 AM, too early to go to the port. Any ideas for a restaurant for breakfast before heading to the port? There will be 6 of us, so we'll probably get 2 Ubers.

Are you cruising out of Miami? Assuming you are, by the time you get off the plane, get your luggage and depart the airport..it will probably be about 9:30. It is a 45 minute ride to the port (WITHOUT traffic). So it is now almost 10:30 if all goes well.

 

Check-in, boarding begins about 10:30-11:00. I, personally would head to Miami FIRST and then worry about food. You never know what is going to happen.

We are cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale. Did some research and found two places: Grampas Bakery & Restaurant in Dania Beach and Joes Café in the Harbor Shops complex off SE 17th Street.

Ahhhh. That makes a big difference! Joes Cafe is excellent! Great choice. (have never been to Grampas though)
