Motorcycle riding in Skagway, has anyone done this?

We have a motorcycle reserved for next week, (a car as a back up plan) has anyone rode the Klondike Highway? How was the weather?

We rented scooters from Skagway scooter rental but I know they also rented motorcycles. Granted, a scooter is very different from a motorcycle, but I wanted to chime in with a ringing endorsement for the crew working at Skagway scooters. Personable, the equipment was being well maintained and we left very pleased with our ride experience. As for the weather, it was windy and overcast when we started but the wind eased up and we had good weather. Our tour just took us over to Dyea so I can't speak to the highway.
