Any good resturant recommendations in Barcelona? Staying a few days before boarding the Symphony. Love a good dinner (fine dining), breakfast and lunch could be casual dining.

We liked Taller de Tapas. It is a chain so they have several locations.

A bit different event but we loved our Taste of Barcelona walking Tapas Tour of the Gothic quarter.

amazing and expensive: tickets, disfrutar,abac

Good and chic: alkimia, dos cielos, moments.

Great value: topik, gresca,hisop

Bar El Velodrome great atmosphere and full of locals.

Any of the eateries around Plaza de Cataluna, especially the Tapas Buffet.

Anywhere else the locals use.

Try City Hall for Catalan Flamenco.

There are a number of good restaurants in the Port area off Rambla De Mar

If you like pasta, the Macchina Pasta Bar makes fresh pasta on the spot. There are several of them. I have only eaten at the Carrer de Balmas one as it is near the Hotel Jazz where I usually stay. It's not fancy, but it is delicious. There are a few tables outside and others inside. I have eaten there every time I have been to Barcelona and they never disappoint.

Santa Anna Restaurant right off La Rambla. Have eaten there more than once. Very varied manu. Good food. They took reservations.

Also have eaten at the Cent Onze which is on La Rambla across the street from Hotel COntinental Barcelona

Made a reservation for this one on trip advisor and received 50% off our bill. Peaceful atmosphere. Good Service.

 

No problem recommending both. We will be going back next time we visit.

The Boqueria market on la Rambla was great for sampling a bunch of different things.

 

If you're looking for Paella, make sure they make it there and don't use frozen.
