rmptoo Posted May 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2004 Hello, We're booked on RC AOS the first week of November and our inside stateroom is right next to a handicapped accessible room. I'm assuming the handicapped accessible room is, by nature, a bit larger than our regular stateroom. But, should I also assume that my regular stateroom will be SMALLER than any other inside stateroom to compensate for the larger handicapped room? Thanks in advance! DesrtDrmr Posted May 31, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2004 I wouldn't think so. It looks to me that the cruise lines make two accessible cabins out of three regular cabins, but do not cut space out of the cabins surrounding them. We have had several accessible cabins and the only difference, size wise, is that the cabins have more floor space to turn wheelchairs and scooters around.........wider doors, to get through, and accessible bathrooms with bars and flat floors in showers. They don't have different furniture in them than other cabins in their classification......just "turn around" space.
