Site to choose cabin?

I just posted this under Ask a Cruise Questions, but now realized I probably should have posted my question here.

We're looking into booking a cruise for next year but wanted to know if anyone knows a site where you can check if a specific cabin is available? I thought I used to have a site bookmarked but I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks so much! I've tried cruisestateroom.com but I couldn't find that they showed what was available. It's a great site to compare rooms though. I'll try this other website. If they don't have what I want, at least it'll be fun trying. Thanks again!

I don't think you'll find one website that will show all available cabins on any given cruise, not even the cruise line's website will do this. If I'm fishing for a cruise, I'll visit the big name websites for travel first (Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc.) to see which cabins they've got available, but I know that this is not an indicator of ALL of the cabins available on that cruise sailing. If you've got a particular cabin in mind, you have to ask for it by number to see if its available.

....and, what is not available today, could very well be available tomorrow! TA's and travel website's will put holds on a particular cabin....and if the client doesn't come up with the deposit....the cabin becomes available again.

A TA might hold a lot of 20 cabins...for a group. Only 10 cabins may actually get booked...and the 10 additional cabins will reappear.
