status match question

I am going to apply for MSC status match for our upcoming first MSC cruise. It says you can only match one loyalty program. My choices are Royal Caribbean (Emerald - 59 points), or Hilton Hotels (Gold - 62,654 points).

I think the RCCL would be best, but I am not sure how these things transfer and which would give me a higher MSC status.

Any advice? thanks.

Wow..never saw this. Thank you for sharing:cool:

The thanks goes to LadyVol, really ... I just kept the link to be able to post it when the question on the subject comes up (which it does quite frequently on here!)

I believe you're on Meraviglia Oct next year ... I hope CC has the Meet & Mingle onboard - perhaps we'll meet up. :)

You are very humble....Thank You LadyVol, but if you did not repost it, I never (and probably many others), never would have seen it.

We are going on the Divina in January and yes, Meraviglia, October of next year. (the repositioning cruise from NY). I don't know which one I am more excited about. YOU are on this cruise too?????

Yes ... we'd originally booked the repo, then we got a 50% discount when we missed ports on Splendida last April, so we cancelled and rebooked, adding the prior 10 night itinerary to New England and Canada for just €100 more than what the repo originally was costing us.

We're on Armonia in January and, like you, not sure which I'm more excited about, though I think Meraviglia has to be the better one. We're on Poesia in 4 weeks time and, honestly, I could take it or leave it. It's our anniversary cruise and we just got it for an amazing price (again, heavily discounted - 30% casino voucher + 10% discount for missing ports on Orchestra last December + 5% Voyagers Club).

Wow! That is amazing. Well, you have been so helpful to me in the past year (we originally had the Seaside booked, but had to cancel) and I really hope to meet you!!!!

Same here :) (and apologies to the OP for de-railing the thread).
