How much is it to use the Lotus Spa for the week? Do they allow paying by the day? Or is it a flat fee for the week? And do they have spa cabins like some of the other cruise lines?

While no one can speak specifically about Sky Princess as that ship is still a year away from its first voyage, a pass to the comparable Enclave at Lotus Spa on the Royal and Regal runs in the neighborhood of $150 for one person on a seven night cruise. There are often couples rates (for both in the same cabin) available. Shorter and longer cruises can be estimated at roughly $20-25/day for one person; couples rates again available for inquiry onboard. I have not heard of single day passes being available other than possibly in conjunction with the purchase of other spa services.

 

On the ships that have the new Enclave, there are no cabins that include use of the Thermal Suite in the fare. Full Suite cabins only (not mini-suites) on certain ships do: Star, Diamond, Sapphire, Coral, Island, Caribbean, Crown, Emerald and Ruby Princess.

Not sure what you mean by "use the spa." The Lotus Spa is an area of the ship managed by Steiner, who runs the spa on ever ship I've ever been on. You can choose from a wide variety of services. If you mean the Thermal Suite, IF there is one on a given ship, you can buy a pass for the length of the cruise, per day, or sometimes additional multi-day passes. They also sell "couples passes."

 

Most ships have a complimentary sauna in the locker room that is associated with the fitness center and spa.

 

I don't think anyone is in a position to give accurate information on a ship that hasn't been put in service yet.
