We had both listened to the "A History of the World in 100 Objects" podcasts, so we spent the day hunting down the objects in the museum that we had learned about. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00nrtd2/episodes/downloads First on the list for our next visit is the Tate Modern. Would you add to this list? Or leave something off?
MrsEmmaPeel Posted August 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2018 24 things to do in London and the Victoria and Albert Museum doesn't appear to be one of them. I now doubt the entire list. The V&A has some of the best special exhibits on earth. The recent Ocean Liners exhibit and the current Frida Kahlo exhibit were/are amazing. LondonTowner Posted August 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 The problem with theses lists are that they never include places off the beaten track. There are far better recommendations of places to visit on Tripadvisor London Forum. Normally suggested by locals. I didn’t go through the entire list as my Internet was playing up, but sure Leighton House in Holland Park or William Morris in Walthamstow museums are not included. Of course, things depend on your likes and interests. My partner likes WWII history, so would visit the RAF Museum in Hendon, Maritime Museum Greenwich, Imperial War Museum etc. Sent from my iPad using Forums
