bruce-r Posted January 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Any major benefit for either one, only thing I am thinking if by phone and tell them that is is for our honeymoon better chance of getting upgraded? It might make a slight difference, depending who you book thru. Telling the TA that you will be on your honeymoon (congratulations BTW) will have no influence on getting an upgrade or not. Cotton Posted January 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Personally, I would never book online. I like having a human voice to speak with, someone who can answer my questions - such as you just asked.:)
Arwenmark Posted January 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I book direct with the cruiseline ONLY because I need specific Handicapped cabins and then I immediately transfer to my favorite online/phone support agency that gives me a better price and monitors the price all the way to sail date. Seldom does telling them about honeymoons or anniversary make any difference whoever you tell.
