Hi everyone & thanks in advance for your answers!

We will have some OBC from our Royal Caribbean Credit Card, that I know the unused amount FULLY REFUNDABLE at the end of the cruise (we do it often). My question is can you cash it out say day 2 of your cruise? I have already prepaid everything & won't need it for anything onboard. I was thinking I'd just take it out early & use it for cash off the ship... thoughts?

I've gotten conflicting answers on this, but I'll find out in a week on the Empress. Was not wanting to have to bring an excess of cash for Cuba, loaded up the onboard credit and was just going to cash out each day what I needed. Since I asked and others said no, I'm going to do the usual and cash out on the last evening of the cruise. But I will ask once I board and report back

I didn't know that was a possibility. If it works, I'll have to keep it in mind for my upcoming cruise

Just to be clear... we are only talking about Royal Caribbean Credit Card On Board Credits. They are the only OBC that you are able to “cash” out.

Other OBC that is fully refundable: OBC from a TA, OBC that was purchased from Gifts & Gear, OBC from a refund onboard. There may be more.

Welll, that’s true..... but I am only interested in the “Credit Card” type.... and that is the question I asked originally.

Thanks anyway.
