European Embarkations

Hello All,

We love MSC and decided to do Northern Europe next year. How does the multi-embarkation ports work? I do not want to have muster drills in each port.

Thanks.

You embark as on any other cruise.

You have a muster drill for people embarking that day before the ship sails.

That is the only time you have to attend, If you fail to attend you will be "invited" to attend the next drill or a specially arranged drill if the next day is a sea day.

There will be announcements and you will see people carrying life jackets to later drills but you just ignore it all.

Hope this puts your mind at ease about having to attend multiple drills.

Pete

I have been on ships with dual embarkation ports. I know that there has been another muster drill but have not noticed it. I suppose what you are concerned about is that the ship "closes down" during a normal muster. When a smaller number of people board, this does not happen. The enjoyment of your cruise is not affected by musters for other people.
