Voom Surf only internet

Just saw in my cruise planner a Voom Surf internet package and the Voom Surf and stream. Anyone done just the surf package? How was service? Primarily looking to use for Wi-Fi calling and checking email.

Just saw in my cruise planner a Voom Surf internet package and the Voom Surf and stream. Anyone done just the surf package? How was service? Primarily looking to use for Wi-Fi calling and checking email.

Works fine for email and surfing. Texting will be no problem. I had OK performance for voice calls, sometimes calls were dropped and my voice was lost in static.

How was service?

Anthem has O3B internet and Surf should suffice.

Had Voom Internet as a suite perk on 8/4 sailing of the Anthem to Bermuda.

 

Pleasantly surprised by speed, even in middle of the Atlantic. Used only for email and surfing the web, no heavy use.
