We spent last night at Hyatt House in Jersey City pre-cruise. Best $ every spent on a hotel. Very nice. Clean rooms, AMAZING views!!!!! Awesome complimentary breakfast. Easy commute into city as Path train is directly beside it. Highly recommend!

How far to Manhattan Cruise Port?

It shows at 7.3 miles.

Could you provide more details? Driving, car service, or public transit? What is your exact date, number of people, hotel budget, and NYC sightseeing plans, if any. These are important details if you're going into Manhattan - there are weekend service interruptions on PATH that you would need to understand how to avoid.

Saw a post that the hotel overnight parking option is $32. You should be able to do better ($20-25) if you look around.

If you're driving, it's easy to take Marin Blvd north to the Holland Tunnel (this brings you right to the last tunnel entrance to "sneak" into the tunnel). Stay in the right lane for the first exit to "West St". Follow Laight St to West St on the River and go all the way north to the Mnahattan Cruiseport. If you stay in the middle lane it should be a relatively quick trip up the West Side. The lights are well timed to ensure traffic moves on this route.

For 10/13 I'm seeing Hyatt House for $223 plus tax on lastminutetravel.com. If you're willing to be a few blocks away from the river, Residence Inn(another new hotel) is showing at $173 plus tax. This hotel is at the Grove St PATH station.
