How far in advance can I buy the Cheers package?

We are headed to Hawaii on Carnival Splendor this coming December - tomorrow all the balances are due. We want the drink package, but it's $1600+ extra, and I'd rather not pay that today.

 

How far in advance to they let you buy the Cheers package? The day before? Or when all balances are due?

You can buy it up to and including the first day or two of the cruise.

You usually save a few dollars per day on the package if you purchase prior to embarkation. Even 24 hours ahead will save you some $$$$
