aggieamy55 Posted September 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Hi. There is now a lower rate for the cruise we booked under Carnival's Early Saver rate, but no onboard credit being offered with this current promotion. We currently have a $50 onboard credit we got with a previous promotion. My question is, if we call to get a price adjustment to this new, lower rate, will we lose our $50 onboard credit? Thanks in advance!
MissKIA Posted September 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Yes, you will lose it if the new rate does not include any OBC.
beachbum6264 Posted September 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Yes, because you're basically rebooking at the new rate.
aggieamy55 Posted September 3, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted September 3, 2018 That's what I figured. Thank you for the quick replies!
RWolver672 Posted September 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2018 Which is the better deal? Keeping your $50 OBC or booking at a cheaper rate. If the cheaper rate is more than $50, it's worth it to re-book.

It is only a 10 dollar difference for me and somewhat not worth it to submit a price reduction
