What was your first Modern Cruise ship on which you sailed?

My wife would say that I was on the Mayflower, but actually the first was Radiance of the Seas.

I can't believe that someone else was actually on the Costa Riviera! Do you remember the "hair drying rooms" because there were no outlets in the room :eek: and the dinners that came out still frozen :( from the microwave???

oh God, do I? The slot machines were always tilted, the lobster was served with Curry I believe and the staff spoke almost no English, or spoke it only when they wanted to. The saving grace, the cabins were really pretty nice and it was my friends first cruise: I don't think we were sober too often thus we had a blast, but I told her, the ship couldn't compare with my first 2, of which one was the Commadore's Caribe. The worst part, I had looked so forward to cruising Costa. Another thing, everyone on the ship chained smoked it seemed. That was ok with us cause we did too, but now it would make me sick. NMnita
