Casino points question

Hi, last cruise was the first time I earned over 5000 points. Got a bounce back offer but it wasn't great and instead booked a casino offer with slightly reduced price and a little casino money.

Somewhere on here I read that if you earn 5000 points on a cruise you automatically get a DOU card on your next cruise. I also read you get a free steakhouse dinner. Is any of that true? Is there a way to contact the casino manager ahead of time? Thanks!

The DOU card, yes. I have gotten that on night one when I had over 5000 on my previous cruise. As far as the steakhouse, I have never had it offered as a perk for my previous cruise points, but I have always gotten one based on my current cruise play.

As far as contacting the casino manager ahead of time, I have never tried so I don't have an answer for you. There is usually a welcome letter in my cabin from the casino manager with an invitation to come introduce myself and get my DOU card.

I have never had to go ask. The first day/night I go to the casino, the casino host tends t seek me out. When I give them my card at the tables, it must trigger a note/invitation for them to find where I am playing at and introduce themselves to me with the DOU card.

As far as bottle of wine sent to the cabin or MDR table, and steakhouse invites that they give me at the tables, it is kind of the same way for me. I never expect it but they always get it to me somehow.
