Has anyone ever been to the Prohibition Party?

 

If so please tell me all about it.

 

How does it work?, what is the cost and what does it include.

We did it on one of our Oasis sailings. It was a lot of fun!! Most people were dressed up. We got a few strange looks as we made our way from our cabin to the party! You get a card in your room with the time, location and password for entry. The party is in Jazz on 4 and they let you in a "back" door. Servers bring various types of "tea" and there are light snacks. Jazz band plays period music, there are a few party games, photo ops and dancing. I think there were about 40 people at the party we attended.

Our experience was similar to jdg623 on the Oasis this past April. It was fun, however I didn’t care for the “tea” the drinks were to sweet for my taste, I’d suggest bringing a drink in if you don’t like the sweet drinks, I wasn’t able to order any drinks other than what they provided, so I just sipped slowly on them. I think the price was around $30-40.

It was fun 5 years or so ago.

I hear nowadays it's a bit of a bore.

Disinterested staff, poor drinks and no food.

Still the JAzz though.
