abdawson1 Posted September 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2018 With the Gem replacing the Dawn in Boston for 2019, today is a unique opportunity to see them berthed next to each other. This is due to the Dawn's Florence revised itinerary. They're in St. John, NB until the Gem leaves first at 4pm.

Big difference...

It's definitely New Brunswick. The Dawn would have a tough time making it to Bar Harbor by tomorrow from Newfoundland.

abdawson1 Posted September 12, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) It looks like only a couple itineraries stop there. Looks like sort of a pit stop for Transatlantic voyages. I still get eerie feeling about that airport as it was unusual to me I hear the people there a very hospitable though Sent from my iPad using Forums

Yesterday was the anniversary of MANY planes being grounded in Gander (alliteration unintended) after the attacks in 2001. That was a *lot* of extra people in Gander... And yes, they were apparently very hospitable. GC
