You can go ashore once you have checked in BUT you have to be back on board for the compulsory safety drill which is usually around 6 p.m. (you should be told the time whilst on your transfer coach). You would only have time to go into Santa Cruz and, to be honest, there isn't a lot there to see there - so if I were you I would relax and find your way around the ship. Rare Cloudyrain Posted September 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2018 Just to add I wouldn’t bother with the HoHo in Santa Cruz: if I recall correctly it was massively overpriced and there was very little to see on it.
