pedirn Posted January 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2006 Not sure if this has been asked, but looking at different attractions around Au and Nz...they list a concession fee as well as adult admission, child admission etc fees. Just what is this....a group fee?
cands Posted January 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Hi, Consession refers to reduced entry fees for concession card holders. Concession card holders are made up of the elderly (receiving a Government pension), students, the unemployed and people on disability payments. This may not represent all instances, but then you get the general idea. I don't think it applies to international visitors, though. Regards, Steve. kimba_99 Posted January 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2006 It definately doesn't apply to international visitors as we tried to take advantage of the seniors/pensioner discount at Centrepoint Tower in Sydney on the weekend for our US friends. They had to pay full price for admission and I have heard from others using different venues that that is the case in all of Australia... it never hurts to ask though.
