First Time in GC

My future wife and I will be in GC in Feb off the Dawn.

 

I have been reading a lot and heard a lot about Stingray City and that this is a must do while in GC. Since it our first time of course we want to do everything.

 

The 2 things we want to do most are visit Rum Point and swim with stingrays.

 

Does anyone know if there is a tour operator that offers both, or even better if it is possible to do this on your own.

 

My initial thought was to rent scooters and tour the island, is there a place to drive to where we can pay to board a boat that will take us to Stingray City but also allow us enough time to drive to Rum Point to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

The Stingrays are a lot of fun, but the first thing you should know about Grand Cayman is that it's a tender port and it's one that can be missed due to seas being too rough to tender. If you book any excursions on your own make sure you won't be penalized if your ship never arrives.

just came back from GC and we did the Rays, Reef and rum tour with Nativeways. Would highly recommend them.:)
