So, really, how good is Hooked?

Recommended Posts

Sailing on Symphony in February, and seafood has been the one constant shortcomings in the cruise world. I see a lot of people getting excited about Hooked, but I'm still a little suspect. Seafood on cruise ships has pretty much always meant frozen and mediocre at best. Particularly when sailing in and out of ports with outstanding fresh local offerings. As such, I've always gotten my seafood fix in ports.

Is Hooked really that good? Or is it just kind of winning at the low expectations game? I mean, how does it compare to the seafood I'll get in Miami before we sail, or in any of the ports of call?
