On RC website it says on 4 night cruises there is only 1 formal night normally on the 2nd night, I know a lot of people dress up for the formal nights on 7nt cruises, but I'm reading that many people really don't dress up for the formal on 4 nt cruises, for those that have sailed short cruises on RC what has been your experience on formal night what did you wear?

Dress the way that makes you comfortable and happy. I've seen a big change in formal wear since 2001. Cruise demographics have a lot to do with the shift to less formal clothing.

I personally love formal nights, and am in a very small minority who brings a tuxedo on board to wear. If the person next to me at a ten top has on slacks and a knit shirt, it has no affect on my evening or our conversation over the ninety minute dinner.

Do what makes you happy!
