IRMO12HD Posted September 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2018 We'll be in Hakodate on Saturday, October 13 -- just wondering if stores/restaurants/attractions have a different weekend schedule? I've downloaded the various visitors' guides, but can't find any details about differing hours/days of operation . . .
BruceMuzz Posted September 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2018 Saturday in Japan is just another day of the week for many Japanese. Most are working. Shops will be open like on any other day of the week.

tsutt35 Posted January 6, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2019 We had a stop in Hakodate in April last year I’ve on the Golden Princess. I loved the port and it was one of my favourites. We did it on our own and saw loads. I blogged about the day with heaps of photos if you’re interested. https://tanyastravelblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/05/do-we-need-beer-goggles/
