Seaside....question

I'm not sure how old the post I read is, but it says that mixed drinks and beer are not available for order during dinner...also they don't offer coffee with dessert????? Is this correct?

We had wine and beer during dinner as well as coffee with dessert . ON our recent cruise on Princess Royal in the British Isles they brought the coffee after the dessert. we had to ask that they please bring both at the Same time. MIghts be a European style

I asked for coffee right after being seated, and the waiter brought me a cup.

I would advise doing what we did. We had cocktails before we went to the dining room. We walked in with our cocktail, no problems. We always went to Venchi for our after meal coffee since there are so many more interesting options available there. This doesn't help if you want coffee with your desert, but we were always wanting to get out of the dining room and to spread out more as quickly as we could. As a caveat, we were Aurea with an upgraded beverage package, so these options were gratis.

We were on seaside last week of August. Had upgraded to classic drinks package....we always ordered wine with dinner....but did see a lot of guests around us getting beer and mixed drinks during dinner. About coffee with dessert...we were never offered coffee at all during the week....witnessed maybe only a handful of guests receive coffee and at various times....it appeared that you had to specifically request it...we felt a bit rushed during dinner....so usually went to venchi for after dinner coffee or cappuccino
