POM earliest flight out of FLL

I am cruising out of Miami and looking for earliest time to fly out of Ft Lauderdale. I have a group of 27. What time would you recommend?

What day of the week are you arriving in Miami? The reason I ask, is there will be A LOT of traffic, Monday through Friday. 27 people? Do you have transportation for this many people and luggage? Are you doing the self disembarkation? There is no way I would book before 12pm....and IMO, I would feel better with a 1pm or 2pm flight.

For a 12:00 noon flight you'd need to be at FLL by 10:30, and closer to 10 would be better with the expected TSA lines on busy days. Figure the ride from POM to FLL will take 45+ min, so that translates into off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs/immigration by about 9:00-9:15.

 

Transportation is a big issue, and trying to corral 27 guests will be a big headache (someone is always late), but as suggested above noon or later should work. Good luck! :)
