Mariano Fiorentino - Naples tour

TNT--Thank you for the reply. I agree, 48 hours in not unreasonable at all. My only concern is how do I know 48 hours ahead of time that we will have bad weather and on top of that, get word to Mariano? I guess it's a logistics question. Like a sailing a few weeks ago( I forget which ship)where they didn't make their stop in Livorno. A lot of people had tours booked and had no way to advise their tour guides.

For those of you that heave used Mariano in the past:

 

Based on all the wonderful things you have all said about him, I emailed him to see if he was available the day we are in Naples. He responded so quickly and my good luck - he was free that day. I emailed him back to confirm the booking and he asked for my credit card information.

 

I faxed the form on Monday (the fax went through) and asked for an Email confirmation.

 

That was 4 days ago. I have emailed him a couple of times to confirm that he received my fax. He has not responded to my emails or fax.

 

Has anyone had this experience with him? Do you think I am being over anxious but expecting a response within 4 days.

LILynn--His response times have been mixed in my experience with him. Sometimes he responds right away, sometimes several days later. He did tell me in one e-mail that he often has computer trouble. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon.
