There is a space after WJ closes at 3:30 from Lunch and the dining 6 PM Windjammer when the dog house and cafe promenade pizza and sandwiches are the ONLY food game in town so be prepared for some lines then. It things out pretty quickly. We got off on Friday the 19th of Oct after being on 7 days.

There is no captains speech, no free champers on either 3 or 4 night but Captain Toni is in the Bamboo room for photos with a minder and in the watch store to sell the Mariner branded watch. You can always take a picture in front  of  the poster of the Master in the watch store if you don't want to pay $19.99 for the ship's photo HA HA!

Enjoy. It is really pretty up by the sky pad with the new facilities and bright colors.

Up where the mini golf deck 13  is -- above the spa  and those new cabins ---is an armada of beach loungers - over 200 of them. Very thinly used even on the 4 n cruise sea day. Check it out!

Do you have any questions about Mariner of the Seas?  We just got off the ship yesterday!  Ask away!

Do they have Blanton on the ship?  It is the bourbon of choice for some of us going on New Year's Eve.

Any chance you rented a cabana on Coco Cay?  Was it worth it?  Thanks for your hep!

For a family of 4 the comfort suites was $340 total.  (prices vary according to dates)  I think day passes to Atlantis would have been $135 a person.  We checked into the comfort suites about 10am and even got into our room there at that time.  We only booked the comfort suites about 3 days before sailing.  We were in Nassau until midnight that day and I think the ship excursion was only 5 hours or something like that.  You can also purchase day passes at the Atlantis. 🙂

How did you get from the port to the Comfort Suites?  Taxi?

There were two elevators in the front that were not working.  They were constantly working on them throughout the cruise but they didn't work the whole time.

Coco Kay was just fine during construction.  All of the beaches were open and it seemed like the areas they were working on were on a different part of the island.  It did not affect us at all.

No life jackets at the muster station.

In Nassau we booked a room at Comfort Suites Paradise Island so we could have full access to Atlantis for much cheaper.  Atlantis is amazing!  We spend the whole day there.

Those elevators were still not working last night.  Haven't tried today.

Yes we took a taxi from the ship. It was $4 per person and dropped us off right at the front door!

Hi there! In Feb. we’re going to

be in cabin 1888 which is right by the elevators. Do you think it will be noisy? Also, did you hear any noise from the crew setting up the lounge chairs on deck 13? Thanks.

That stateroom is not as close to the elevators as it appears on the deck plan.  Noise from the elevator lobby should not be a problem.

I don't but you will LOVE the room!  We were is 1838 (I think that was the number) on Deck 12.  When you walk in there is the bathroom then couch that turns into a bed, then the regular bed and then two chairs with a little table (sitting area).  The windows are amazing!  We would book this room again in a second!  There were 4 of us in there and had plenty of space and storage for clothes!

So excited, we are in that same cabin on Dec. 17th 4 nights :)   I will be sure to get some photos and share.
