Pre Cruise FLL

My husband and I are coming the last weekend in February for a 2 night, 3 day stay in Fort Lauderdale before leaving on the Carnival Liberty. We want to stay near the beach so are booked into the Sheraton Yankee Trader. I'd like to avoid renting a car and would like to know how close the water taxi stop is to the hotel.

Just watch the TAXI (car taxis, that is).. ours wanted to "negioate" a rate before we got in the car, only to find out that there is a meter. His negioated rate was double what the meter was. Only pay the meter in FFL!
