Casino cash into real cash???

Just won $700 on a raffle.  Casino cash, was given a choice on table play or slots, chose slots...no one has been playing blackjack (my game of choice) the last couple of days and I won't play one on one with a dealer. So what's the best way to turn this into real cash...I was told that it was "free play"?

Put it in your bank, play a while & then cash out I believe works for Casino Cash.

It does not work.  You can put it in your bank and play a bit.  When you cash out, it will say how much you have left in Casino Cash as well as how much in actual cash (which will be anything you have won off the Casino Cash.).  It used to work, but when I was on the Breeze in September, it did not anymore.

I was wondering about this. My last cruise was in January and my mom got a few hundred in casino cash as a premier perk. It was just cash they handed to her. I won a raffle for a few hundred and that too was just cash. Now I've heard about "fun play" money or something that they are giving on some cruises, has this replaced casino cash?

So you can only play with it but then any winnings you can cash out as cash is my understanding?

Yep, exactly.  In July, I was handed cash.  In September, it was "fun play."  The fun play is used first and anything won is added to the player bank.  When the fun play is gone, you are then dipping into your player bank, or you can cash out any winnings at that point.

It may depend on the ship also, but all of my new casino offers actually say the words "Fun Play" so my guess is that they will all be moving to that eventually.

Ok, just back from the casino, hoped to have played a few hands of video jacks or better, and then cash out, no such luck, had to play until all the free play money was gone.  Came out with $605 real cash out of the $700 casino cash...not bad for free money!  Still no one playing blackjack...casino has been pretty slow...on the Horizon.

Good for you!  My trip in September was about the same...$600 from $700 in Free Play, but since mine was a Premier, the casino was packed to the brim...every table/machine was busy from open to late.
