trvlexprt Posted April 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2004 Anyone out there now if Carnival will assist in CC members trying to meet while on board? Would they block off a small room somewhere on board for all of us to meet up? Just thinking that it would be easier than having to "ask" every person. any other suggestions? Have any of you just worn something particular.I was even thinking of making a sign and putting it up but I have enough to carry Your thoughts are appreciated. I have emailed my CCL rep just waiting for a response. Have a great weekend!!! Carol Legend to Bermuda - 4/23/

afdds Posted April 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2004 In Dec. on the Legend, our group worn Mari Gra beads. (Dollar Store) We met at the AFT bar after the life boat drill. I also worn my CC visor. Going to buy the T-shirt for this next cruise. Hope this helps. 5-23 Victory Sail Away... Sail Away.... Sail Away D. GottaLuvCruising Posted April 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2004 Carnival has been asked before (and declined), but I had to try! I wrote to them regarding our upcoming Hawaii cruise on the Spirit. I haven't heard back yet. We've always had to arrange our own Cruise Critic get-together. Typically a location is chosen, and everyone meets right after the lifeboat drill. Good luck with your "meet & greet".
serene56 Posted April 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2004 I doubt very much that carnival will set aside a lounge just for a meet and greet. What to do is find out through cruise critic what lounge is the least occupied and that is where you set your meeting. We met in a lounge where there were a few people in there and they came over and joined us. It ws truly fun Going NOWHERE Miracle, February 13, 2005 Legend, October 22,2004 Voyager August 31,2003 Victory September 22,2002 Regal Empress,June 2001 Sensation,August 2000

trvlexprt Posted April 4, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted April 4, 2004 Thanks everyone for your input. I kinda thought CCL didn't have or wouldn't do anything about it but had to ask. The "beads" idea is a good thing..inexpensive Again short of me bringing a sign or something. Would be nice though if CCL could put something together though Have a great weekend!!! SUSANITA Posted April 4, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 4, 2004 If any portion of the people that you are sailing with booked as a group, with Carnivals group department, they *may* consider giving you space for a meet and greet. If you booked individually, you're on your own. Suep366394@aol.com NEXT UP~SENSATION 5/6/04! MARINER~ 9/19! MIRACLE~FEB 13,2005! http://community.webshots.com/user/upstatedon OUR CRUISE PICS!
