It's 8 bags for 3+ months, many life circumstances, and an exceptionally complicated military move. I agree with the others that you should be able to store suitcases under the beds as there is a lot of space there. You mentioned household goods and electronics. I would recommend checking the lists of prohibited and restricted items on the cruise line website. Often things like irons, certain types of extension cords, etc. will not be permitted onboard, and could be confiscated by port security (even before the suitcase gets near ship security). Items that may be critical for your deployment/move may end up not being permitted on the ship. Might need to still try hotel or other storage.
