Hey Renee,

We were thinking of doing that in Costa Maya too, b/c we were too busy in the other ports to do it, and we emailed the tour company that offers it and they said they can't offer it privately, you have to book through the ship. If you find someone that offers it privately would you post it? ... that would save about $50 p.p. Saw 2 reviews of it, one saying it was interesting, and the other saying all they saw was a bunch of seaweed and sand. I think to see the good stuff you have to paddle exactly where the guide tells you, so if you're off chasing sharks you might miss the good sights. I'm just hoping I can paddle without spilling my beer.

Hey small world, we're also on the Miracle, 2 weeks before you. If I see a private tour I'll post it here when I get back.

That would be great!!! If you go to the little fishing village let me know what is available for rentals and things. It would be really appreciated.
