Smoking on Regal

Have a question for those who have stayed in the Aft Suites on the Regal.  Can you smell the smoke from the smoking area on Deck 7? We are looking at two different staterooms  D 727 and B 735. We have noticed that one of the smoking area is on deck 7. So just wondering if the smoke penetrates up to the balcony on  those staterooms.

A few years ago we were in Deluxe Balcony D721 on the Royal (basically same layout as the Regal) and we did occasionally smell the smoke wafting up from the smoking area on that side of the ship.

Stayed in D736 the last few years (and again on 12/2). Not a suite but aft right in the middle. Have never smelled smoke ever. Soot, yes. Smoke, nope.

If there's soot on your balcony, imagine what you're breathing you can't see.

We stayed in an aft penthouse suite on Baja deck and had no smoke issues.

We have stayed in R734 on Regal and Royal.  We never smelled smoke, but we did have occasional cigarette butts (and even wrappers) magically appear on our balcony in the early morning.  Soot is also a small factor.

I guess it's not a big deal to us, as we've reserved the same cabin again in January!
