Is 'move up ' offered on UK bookings ?

I have seen a few posts about the move up bidding offered by Celebrity but they all seem to be from US posters. I tried an online search but it just takes me to the Celebrity UK page to research booking a cruise. There is no mention of this offer anywhere. Are we in the UK excluded from this ?

We do not appear to get such deals in U.K. There are other things that are discussed here which we don’t have in U.K. - e.g. price drop matching, go better go best type of deals.

I'm unaware of any UK based programs doing this.

Are you on Facebook? Maybe ask on there? They occasionally respond to customers questions on the Celebrity UK Facebook page.

I have posted on Facebook so will update if I get an answer. I know we don't get price drops etc supposedly because we have different consumer laws but I cannot see any reason why we can't have this offer as it means we are paying more money to Celebrity!

Many British and Australians who booked locally reported that they DID receive Moveup offer for our upcoming Dec cruise.

I posted this question on Facebook and Celebrity replied that it was an offer ' being trialled only in the US and it might be rolled out to the UK but they don't know yet. They say occasional offers to upgrade might be sent out close to sailing times.
