bullsh Posted November 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2018 Birth certificate When using a birth certificate when you are married or was married to get on board. Does it matter about the different last name? Do you need to bring marriage license also? Clarea Posted November 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2018 A person should have a bridge document if their birth certificate name does not match the name on their government issued photo ID.

As long as the booking is in the same name as the photo ID, shouldn't be a problem. The reason you really do need a marriage license is when the bride books herself in her new name and has no official photo ID document that supports that name. That's when the risk of being denied boarding is really high
