No fees, and for the most part you can just walk off the ship. However, in some ports it is necessary to 'tender' which means that for whatever reason the ship cannot be dockside. They will lower the tender boats (or lifeboats) and ferry people from the ship to the docks. If you want to get onto one of the earlier tender boats you will need to get a ticket. There is no cost for the ticket, but I can understand why someone would have a question about whether or not you'd have to pay to go ashore. Hope this helps.
