A question about calling cards

I need to know, from the Western Carribean ports what is the best way to call home.
Should I buy calling cards and take them with if so what kind, or could I call collect or what. Or does anyone know which cell service works in Either Montego bay, Georgetown or Cozumel. We need to call and check on the kids at Grandmas while were gone or the worry will kill us

Thanks in advance

Until we Conquest

I'm not sure there IS a "best", it's not an easy decision, but here's some more information that might help.

Good question!
