We are on the Spirit in April and they don't have a Moderno or La Cucina. We will get a choice of Cagneys or Le Bistro for one voucher with wine, but what will the other voucher be? We are both Platinum Plus.

Thanks,

Tony

Whilst it isn't called La Cucina, there is still an Italian restaurant on the Spirit (La Trattoria), and the other voucher is used there. No alternative option with that one.

Since they give each cabin occupied by a Platinum two coupons for dinner for two, and not each Platinum individual...

it is now an advantage to be a solo in a cabin.   Especially if you snag a last minute sailaway rate with no single supplement.

So even if you are traveling with someone, it works out better to book two separate cabins and get double the perks.

At one time, they would "split" the coupons for a solo platinum, so you could get the four meals individually, but now they no longer will do that.   So the "workaround" is to meet another solo platinum at the solo meet and greet, and arrange to share each other's coupons.  That way, you both get four meals in the specialty restaurants, instead of only two...:classic_cool:

Or, you could just be nice and invite someone, who is not a platinum....

We are traveling this week with another couple who are both Platinum (we will be after this trip).  We just booked one of them with one of us in each cabin, and the same in the next door cabin, and we all four get two specialty dinners during our cruise.

We don't sleep that way, naturally, we just book it that way and rearrange room cards.

Bummer is on the Sky, there is no Moderno, so we have to do Cagney's and Il Adagio.

If traveling with a close, friendly cooperative couple, try it.

Simple, you will get two dockets for 2 dinners.  Each has a choice of restaurants but only one docket has a bottle of wine included.

The only peculiarity is when one in the cabin is Platinum and the other Platinum Plus.  It has been known that each gets the benefits but don't expect it!!

This may have been what happened with you but it didn’t happen with us, my 2 cousins were 1 or 2 cruises off from P+ and they/we only got one certificate per cabin. As far as it “being known”, nope, this is the first time I am hearing/reading of this.

It has been reported on here quite a few times.
