asebastian Posted December 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Your country of residency doesn't matter for visa requirements, only your citizenship and passport. Looks like Taiwan citizens need a visa, check here https://www.visahq.com/argentina/requirements/taiwan/resident-united-states/ Or at your local Argentinian embassy. You may also need to apply the old fashioned way, at the embassy and not online according to the link I posted.
Lunenburg Posted December 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2018 Make sure you get all this sorted out correctly. There were about two dozen people who were refused boarding on our cruise from Buenos Aires to Rio as they did not have a Brazil visa. They were mostly Australian and US passport holders. https://cancilleria.gob.ar/en/services/visa/tourist-visa http://www.embajadadebrasil.org/brasil/pasaporte-y-visas.php#.XCYg4s9KhE4 Yellow Fever vaccinations are recommended for visitors to Sao Paulo and depending on your length of stay may be required to re enter certain countries after visiting Brazil. For example Those who are arriving in Costa Rica from South American countries, including Brazil, Bolivia, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Republic of Guyana and Venezuela or sub-Saharan Africa must be able to show evidence of a valid yellow fever vaccination before they will be let into Costa Rica. asebastian Posted December 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2018 Australian passport holders don't need a visa for Argentina for up to 90 days stay. The previous reciprocity fee is also no longer required. https://argentina.embassy.gov.au/baircastellano/TAreciprocityTAreciprocity.html For Brazilian visa, VFS remains the best and easiest way to apply (for qualifying countries): https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/brazil/online/home/index
