Geocachi Posted January 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2006 Geocaching while on a cruise is a great way to create your own Eco "shore excursion". When we cruise we look for geocaches in the ports we are visiting. We try to walk as much as possible. It's not only great excercise, but it allows you to get off the beaten path and way from the touist traps. We've been to places and seen things the "regular" cruisers did not. Geocaching is a low environmental sport, in fact Geocachers are encouraged to practice CITO (Cache In Trash Out). To learn more Google "Cruise Caching" or "Geocaching Cruises". Exploring the world... one cache at a time.
cruzecrittor1 Posted October 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2006 Do you know of any website that lists zip codes for cruise ports? Just thought it might help in geo searchs if you had the zip.
