CruisinTXGal Posted April 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2004 DH and I are looking at dates to book our next 2 cruises!! We're taking the kids in October of this year and going again just the two of us in March 2005. Did anyone else go this crazy after your first? We are doing the Elation again with the kids, because we know she's top notch, but we are thinking of the Conquest for our March cruise. Omigosh, I can't believe we are already planning our next two! It has certainly helped ease the PCD, though...... So.....who else went on your first and came back and booked another within just a few months of the first?? Please tell me I'm not alone in my craziness!! Elation 3/28/

swd269 Posted April 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Just got off the Victory 3/14/04. Going crazy with PCD. Last 2 times we have taken the kids so looking for the perfect couples cruise for our 10th anniversary in November. Of course that wasn't enough for me so I managed to talk DH into giving me a 2 day to nowhere on the Victory in June as a birthday gift. Just me and a girlfriend. I know 2 days is a tease but it should tide me over till November.(I hope ) Susan Victory CTN CAN'T WAIT!!!!

babies12 Posted April 6, 2004 #11 Share Posted April 6, 2004 I think I have it worse than you. We have our cruise planned, but for May, 2005! I agree with you though, at least it helps with the PCD. We would have gone this year, however, we already booked a land based vacation (Cabo). We'll get to see her there when she comes into port. Have a great cruise! Till I sail away! CruisinTXGal Posted April 6, 2004 Author #14 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Whew......This board is full of crazies!! So....are the subsequent cruises as magical as the first? Lord, I expected to come back and post a review and then not be around much after that. Now I'll need you all to get through the waiting again! Oh the sweet agony...... sea-cruise Posted April 6, 2004 #15 Share Posted April 6, 2004 I had to stop cruising for the last 3 years to take care of mother with cancer. It was a depressing "withdrawl". LornaT Posted April 6, 2004 #16 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Not crazy at all. Was waiting to go on my 05/02/03 Carnival Spirit Honolulu to Vancouver when I decided that a cruise for New Yeasr would be fun also, so booked my 12/27/03 Carnival Glory cruise 2 month prior to sailing the Spirit, well four months prior to sailing the Glory booked my 12/21/04 and 12/29/04 sailing on the Legend for this year, two weeks ago I booked the 04/02/2005 and 04/10/2005 sailings of the Spirit again. Now this is crazy!
imatarb Posted April 6, 2004 #17 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Then call me crazy, too, as I've already been sort of planning another cruise about a year from now. I know that after DH returns from this one, he'll want to sail out into the sunset again and again! It's his first time cruising, let alone his first vacation of his adult life. We usually take time off to visit friends and family, but this is really our first 'vacation' together. He'll be hooked! hstrybuf Posted April 7, 2004 #22 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Our first cruise was in 1999. We didn't cruise again until our 25th wedding anniversary in 2002. That was the beginning of two cruises a year. Finding the cruise boards in 2001 just fed my addiction . . . and I've loved every minute of it!
