Bellablue Posted January 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2019 We are traveling to Bonaire in April and are looking for a sandy beach with beach chairs, beach bar and good food that also has quality snorkeling. We are likely renting a golf cart or car so we can see other things as well. We are on the island from 7am-4pm. Thank you!

Katefromupstate Posted January 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2019 Within walking distance is Divi Flamingo beach resort (turn right after getting off the cruise ship.) They also have the amenities you want and snorkeling. A golf cart ride north is Eden Beach Resort or Coco Beach (next door to each other in Hato, just take the main road north out of town) All have beach chairs and beach beds, beach bar and food, restrooms, etc. The Klein Bonaire water taxi departs from Eden Beach Resort. Best snorkeling is off Klein Bonaire or in places that don't have the amenities you're looking for, but you'll certainly see some fish and coral. Be aware that all resorts will charge a day fee (varies from $5 for a chair rental to $25 for a day pass) to non-resort guests. Enjoy your trip! island284 Posted January 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2019 We went to Spice Beach and snorkeled from the pier. Lots of fish but no plants. This isn’t a regular sandy beach to enter from the water. They have lots of loungers set on sand, a good bar/food area. Lots of rocks when you enter the water.
