Tendering at Grand Cayman

Will be on the Triumph at Grand Cayman on 3/8/06. We have a tour planned on Grand Cayman and need to be onshore at 8:45 a.m. I was wondering what the tendering procedures were on the Triumph, mainly how you go about getting your tender tickets and how soon we can get them? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

hello, just returned home from a cruise on the conquest with a stop in

grand cayman, the tenders refused to shuttle the day we were there because of rough seas so we didnt get to go on shore and left out at 9am for cozumel, kinda of sucked but they said it was too rough for their little tenders, saftey first. jeff

I was there also on the Rhapsody of the Seas. The Captain said the reason they did not let us go into port was because the tender dock was under three feet of water due to the seas.

We did get an automatic full refund applied as a credit to our on-board ship account (Sea pass card) for the excursion, however, we did book our excursion through the cruise line. If you book independently from the cruise line, you might be out of luck on getting a refund.

If you book the excursion through the cruise line, the tour will wait for you to get on shore, and the ship will wait for you to return. Again, if you book it independently of the cruise line, you might be out of luck.
