Sting Ray City, Tortuga rum factory and beach

We are in Grand Caymen in April on Seaside from 8am to 4pm. We are planning to do the MSC catamaran sting ray city tour which lasts according to the information approx 2 and a half hours.

If anyone has done this does the catamaran come right to rhe ship or do you still have to tender in and then get on it?

If the 2 and half hours is  correct is it still feasible to think we could do some beach time on Seven Mile Beach and visit the rum factory for some tasting (and buying) and be back in good time for the tender? Thank you for any information that will help us plan the day.

You'll still have to tender. There will be enough time to take a cab to the rum factory, but don't expect a lot of it... It's just a shop where they'll offer you a piece of rum cake and where you can buy some rum. It's not a real factory...

I don't know about the beach, we didn't go there.
