carnival or ta for cruise?

I just booked through Carnival after looking through all of the online sites and calling a TA. The advantage I found was that Carnival had cabins available that did not show as available online or with a TA. I was able to get connecting cabins for my family that were not shown available.

I've booked my last several cruises through a Carnival PVP (Personal Vacation Planner). Somehow, she has always gotten me some type perk that the TAs I've used in the past couldn't get. I haven't sailed w/o shipboard credits or reduced fare - since booking w/Carnival directly. (She also sends a bottle of wine to my cabin.):)
